Tanzania Meteorological Authority as a warning centre for Tsunami in Tanzania is mandated to monitor and issue warning for tsunami threats across Tanzania coastal regions when necessary. TMA need to collaborate with Disaster Risk Reduction Agencies, community at risk and the media so as to make sure that disasters relating to Tsunami are minimal by issuing early warnings.
